  17. {Take 1 tsp of red chilli powder.
  18. {Take 1/2 tsp of turmeric powder (haldi).
  19. {Get 6-7 pieces of seekh kabab.
  20. {Make ready 1/4 cup of tamarind pulp (imli).

Steps to make Bhagaray Kabab:

  1. Assemble all ingredients. Dry roast cashews for 1 minute. Then add red chillis, dhania, cumin, cloves, safaid till and khopra and dry roast for 2 minutes. Keep aside..
  2. Dry roast sliced onion until brown. Add to previous dry roasted spices. Let it all cool. Blend the dry roasted ingredients with water to make a smooth paste..
  3. Heat oil in a wok. Add cumin, curry leaves, kalonji. When they start to pop, add the blended paste. Cook for 2-3 minutes until oil separates..
  4. When the oil separates, add in salt, red chilli powder and haldi and mix well. Add water to make a gravy. I used pre-made seekh kababs. Add in the kababs when defrosted..
  5. Cover with lid and cook on low flame for 10 minutes. Remove lid, add in tamarind pulp, mix well and cook for 5 minutes until a rich colour develops..
  6. Dish out. Garnish with coriander. Serve with naan or garlic naan. Enjoy!.
